What have you done with your tank lately?

I don't think you could nuke your tank with it but you know in this hobby who knows... my biggest concern is how fast the media expires. To run at the pH I want I have now added a new expense to the overall reoccurring cost.

Imma check out Medvet. Does the media change color at expiration like BRS?

At the laundromat washing filter socks. We just got a new washer and dryer and they literally cannot clean them. Stupid HE stuff.

Just looked at my co2 media and now it's purple. Just changed it out. If this only lasts 3-4 days its gonna sux. Took off skimmer silencer and the outside air tube to see if I have any difference sucking inside air vs outside. Skimmer still silent.

Looks like imma need this in bulk. So Medvet it is.

Yes, medvet changes color as it is used. I have found that you can still use it several days after all the media changes color. Have also found that while it does raise my ph from the 7.7-7.9 range to the 8.0-8.2 range I am changing out media every 5 days or so. And that is pulling air from the outside.

Check your settings. I found that setting mine to clean out the tub gives me decent results.

Hooked up the Calcium reactor and pH Controller with a new BRS Dual junction pH probe. Trying to get things together and stable enough to pick up some frags from the Frag Swap.

Nook and the others must have goofed, cause they actually scheduled this one on a day I'm off.

We have had the swaps on a Sunday for a while so we decided to switch it up and have it on a Saturday this time. Hopefully it doesn't bite us in the tail fin.

Cleaned my glass on the tanks.

Removed the sulphur denitrator from the 1100 gallon system and cleaned it like new.

Removed my 12x24" Matrix/Marine Pure reactor from the 1100 gallon system and cleaned it.

Cleaned my GEO skimmer.

Sold a few coral colonies from Nam.

Got my humongous wet dry filter delivered by Chad.

This thing is huge! The small box sits in the sump and will take a LOT of bioballs.
