What heater?

What heater is everyone running? I was using a Marineland one until it malfunctioned, raising my temp up to 85 degrees nuking some of my corals. Found out there was a recall on it after the fact. I'm needing a replacement so I wanted to see what everyone is using.

I had a glass heater explode in my tank's sump about a year ago. Fortunately, I was compensated for some losses, although I wouldn't wish that ordeal on anyone. You could probably find the thread on here somewhere.

Anyways, I'd suggest a non-glass heater to avoid such potential nastiness

Eheim Jager. Never had a problem with them. I however..... Set the temp a few degrees higher than wanted, then have it controlled by a aquacontroller. Never a problem.

any titanium heater, i have a ehiem that i use my acjr controler to only keep it from over heating. I let the heaters temp controls to do their job and have my controler as backup set 1 deg higher for safety.

Also I found this titanium heater with controller. Has anyone heard of this brand? It looks like a really good deal.

I have a heater, but I haven't used one in years. I just let the lights/pump keep the tank warm

I have that same one to match my new salt mix to my tank's temp. Pretty easy and no problems thus far.
