What I have realized about STL

I have told some of this before but have since re-realized it. For those who don't know I recently move back to Minnesota and it's true when they say "Minnesota Nice" BUT not when it comes to the sale of frags.

I have been spoiled in STL because people are very VERY generous when it comes to selling things and here (MN) if they are going to sell a coral they want to get enough to go buy another at a store! It's NUTS

Last note; I think we've all heard how selection is not good in the mid-west... up here things like standard green button polyps are all the rage. So if you want to make a mint just post some things for sale to the MN folk and offer to ship :D

SELLING?????? here in KC we give em away if we arnt tradin......but i'll be a st. louisan in 2 weeks so its good to know its good there too.

I'm pretty sure it would be worth my 14hr drive to STL when I plan to start stocking my tank ;)

Here in St. Louis, we trade corals for corals, trade corals for services, sell frags, give away stuff, donate used items to SEASL which is then sold to help pay for club functions like bringing in Anthony Calfo, Eric Borneman, and probably Bob Fenner, yada, yada, yada.

Looking forward to having another St. Louis reefer (at least in 2 weeks).

Turf,

the people down in st louis/missouri are also way nicer than up in ND/MN

its kind of a "mind your own business" thing up in the north

I am disappointed to hear that the situation has not changed much since I left

oh well, I'll be up there in 2010, if you're still there we can exchange freebies amongst ourselves

who ah!!! you're welcome to stop buy... I should be her for the next 20 or 30 yrs
