What is a good price for a LARGE BTA?

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day. She said she wants to sell her large BTA. It is being hosted (true percs) so she may or may not sell the clowns with it. She asked me what price she should ask for it. I don't have a clue. Any suggestions?

I would say $40 is a good deal for a BTA that is that size, even $60 sounds reasonable for a larger one like that.

(BTW, how is the sebae doing?)

RBTA runs about 40

I'd have to disagree with you there. My LFS has arguably the best prices anywhere. They have 2 really nice ones. Green base, and red 'arms'. about 4" diameter

they're asking $80 ea, and I'm tempted...

They sold me my BTA for $30

The Sebae is doing ok. Moody some days and not others. When I get a better camera I'll post some more pics.

Well, if I remember right. Live Aquaria was selling some in the Diver's Den for I think $69.? I might be wrong on that and I don't remember the size. That's why I thought I had better ask!

Glad the sebae is doing okay. Look forward to the pics.

For a regular GBTA of that size, $40 is cheap and $60 seems reasonable. For a Rose (RBTA) that is a foot across, you would expect to spend $120 or more.

Check around your area and see what they are going for there.

I tried. One LFS said they could special order them (they usually only sell Condys) but they wouldn't know how much they would be until they order them. Lol, I'm not wanting to buy one (at least not right now)!

The other LFS said they can get small/medium ones. But can't (or won't?) get in anything in the 12" size range.
