what is a mandarin longevity?

probably asked a million times but i just lost my second one in six years. none has lived past three years. all my other fish are, thankfully, indestructible.

I hope you have sufficient copepods for it as you are unlikely to sustain it on added foods.

Damn! I knew as soon as my male spotted reached two years on frozen foods in a smallish tank w/ no 'fuge and no copepod supplementation that the bar for "success" would be raised to something far higher! We have an upcomming tank move to plan, and he and his mate are plump and have been spawning, so hopefully the move does not set them back at all.
