Hey guys Got this maxima about a week ago and he is absolutely amazing! after having him on the rockwork he jumped onto the sand a couple times so I placed him on a rock and left him there and he is really happy..

I'm just trying to figure out if this is considered normal or gaping for Cloyster?

I absolutely LOVE this clam. I will be getting another one soon and I really want a blue one..the gold is awesome but under the LEDs doesn't look fancy lol

Looks like it's settling into your tank, should be fine.

it's fine, gaping will be associated with retracted mantle
