What is Ecotech doing!

I had a faulty pump, I sent it in to EcoTech MP40 with a Vibrating motor, a faulty wetside, and even purchased the Wireless unit all to be taken care of under warranty. They had told me that they had sent me a new wetside and motor along with the wireless unit that I had purchased from them... I received the faulty motor and wetside back with the MP40w wireless unit, being told that Steve had fixed it himself... Again, old motor, old wetside, old problem, new wireless unit. I called up and talked to them. so they sent me the Little fixer upper kit that they sell. I received it, installed it, and still have this flipping problem... I can't stress how displeased I am with their service right now. The only thing we managed to get accomplished is for me to cough more dough into this pump!!! Between the shipping and the wireless unit!! Also to add to this, my warranty just expired.

I'm sick of EcoTech...

Mike-

As we've spoken about in the past, your pump was purchased used (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1468219, and http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1475286) and it is unreasonable to blame us for the condition that you received your pump in. You have been quite caustic to us from our very first interaction and I will ask you one more time to be respectful toward us just like we have been toward you.

Based on our records your pump was shipped back with a new motor, driver and wet side components. Yes the motor might have had some dust on it but that does not make it used. We also worked with you on upgrading to the WWD. After your email was sent to us nearly two weeks ago, Steve also immediately sent you every single part that is needed to replace your wet side aside from the nozzle. This was not a 'little fixxer upper kit,' it was practically every single part of a new wet side. We never heard back from you after that until now.

I believe that your wet side has been reassembled improperly or that there is more to this story than you are telling us. To correct the assembly of your wet side, please review your instruction manual or visit this link for video instructions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYGqezWzKBU

The new motor and wetside were not shipped to me. I even sent pictures to you to prove that. I guess you guys wont take pictures as proof? You sent me the same unit back with the new wireless unit that I had purchased. the reason for the anger was that I had just watched my pump after "Based on our records your pump was shipped back with a new motor, driver and wet side components" watching the same old motor... Vibrate loosing it's connection from the wetside and having it fall off!!! I take your statement "yes the motor might have had some dust on it but that does not make it used." as an insult. You're thinking that I cannot recognize the same used pump with all the markings that it had after I told you it was the same pump that I had before... You never sent me all the parts to fix the pump. You sent me the parts to fix the wetside... I followed the directions and even that broke...

The pump was purchased and the claim was made under warranty.

I reviewed the directions. I looked into it. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to set these things up.

If your going to spend $$$ on something so expensive why would you buy used?? Always buy it new.

Buying this pump at all was a mistake...
