what is happening to my anemone?

Thank you for your help! Sadly, there are only two LFS here. The other LFS is the same as my current LFS. The equipment here are not as readily available as they are in the US. I have started my QT with new saltwater. I'll just do daily water change and see what happens. Thank you!

In that case ordering online would be wise.

Potonski, you asked about the salinity to keep your tank. You want to keep invertebrates (including anemones) at full strength natural seawater which is a specific gravity of 1.026-1.027. Salinity is read in parts per thousand and a ppt of 35 is the equivalent of natural seawater. Although fish can tolerate lower salinity, invertebrates are not able to for a long period of time. Low salinity will weaken and eventually kill even a healthy well-established anemone. You will want to make sure in your quarantine and display tank that the specific gravity is in the correct range.
