What are your parameters and how was this acclimated? Are there any irritants in the tank?

the enlarged mouth either means its hungry or extremely stressed.

That's great glad to see it's getting better. I raise nems and it's always a mistrey as to what they want or need. Every new strain is different.

how long have you had the bta? They will do that while its adjusting to your tank.

ive had mine for about 5 months and does that occasoinaly , it might be expelling waste. should be fine!!

Glad to see it's puffed up. Nems do the strangest things, especially when introduced into a tank. Got to love then.
