What is happening to my stylo frag?

I have had this a few months now and have never seen it like this. Is it just not extending it's polyps in those spots?

Looks like some ploys are closed. I see no problem.

I have never seen it like this before. Kind of worried me. I could tell polyps were closed but wanted to make sure that was it And not dead. Still new to sps.
