What is my Betta eating?

I got a marine betta about a month and a half ago and so far I've never seen him eat anything. This includes when I try to feed him live guppies, jumbo mysis, regular mysis, plankton and brine shrimp. I'm assuming he's eating something in there, I just have no idea what. Also, I know I'm going to run out of it eventually so Ill need to figure out what it is to get more.

Any ideas?

Definitely could be a closet eater. Our orange-spot shrimp goby is a closet eater. Rarely see it eat, but it's got a nice full belly. Keep an eye on its belly for signs of starvation. Not sure what you should do if you notice it getting skinny, though.

I would avoid feeding it any live guppies. Freshwater feeder fish in general have very little in nutritional value. Talk to the people at the store you got it from and see what they were feeding it.(If they can remember) Hopefully that should lead you in the right direction.

Yes I know guppies are bad for saltwater fish as they put a strain on their liver. I don't believe my lfs had a chance to feed him since it was a birthday present and my girlfriend picked him up as soon as they got him in.
Any idea where I can find live feeder shrimp or a place that will ship them?

Update.

I decided to try bloodworms since I think it's the only food I dont have in the freezer and low and behold, he ate 3 large worms right off the bat.
Just as a reference if anyone else runs into this issue.
