What is this? My other clown had a problem a week or so ago and we decided that it was warts. I'm not sure if this is the same stuff or not. All of my params check out but my temperature has been fluctuating a lot the last week because I added a canopy and it has been hot during the day and cold at night sometimes a 8 or 9 degree fluctuation. I think it is now stabalized and I have been feeding food laced very heavily with garlic oil. Let me know of any suggestions.

Are there any fish in the tank with the clown? It could be possible that another fish is picking on you clown----if so, the white spots could be areas with tissue scar.

they come out from her body like 1/16 of an inch. There are 4 other fish in the tank and they all seem to get along. I forgot to mention that the one with the spots is the female of the two.

How long have you had the fish that now has the white spots?

Has the white spots ever disappeared?

Is the white spot getting smaller or bigger?

Do you have live rock in the tank?

Do you have any creatures with poison in the tank?

all of my tank inhabitants and information can be found here:

The clown has been in my tank almost 2 months. The white spots just appeared and have been getting worse. It seems like they may be getting better because I have been feeding with garlic oil and I have kept my temperature more stable the last couple of days. I have about 130lbs of LR in the tank. None of them have poison that I know of.
