what is the best clam for a 20gal 175wMH tank?

just bought a 175 watt mh 1400k retrofit. my tank is mainly softies, but i am looking to buy a clam and some softies. What is the best clam to buy for this environment, in your opinion? thaks.

I have a 20g long with a 175w XM 20k bulb. So far, I have 2 croceas, and 1 derasa. I am still looking for a maxima or two. The croceas are directly under the light, but in the sand. As for the derasa, it is off to the side where it dosn't get as much light.

Oh, my my first clam was a crocea. It is doing fine, and really colors up the tank.

you can get any clam you want.

you can get any clam that you want, but i would try and stay away from the bigger ones(gigas, squasoma,derasa) for two reasons....one they will out grow your tank, and 2 because they dont like such intense light, they are bottom dwellers... so i would stick with maxima or crocea.... JMHO

These are clams in a friends 20Gal. Long. He's only running a 150W Coralife 20K HQI MH over these. I believe these are 3 nice Croceas. SNPRHED, you out there?
