My skeletor is about 10 inches long and currently eats every other day. He’s housed in a 30-gallon tank right now. I’m considering moving him to my 180-gallon setup, which has plenty of rockwork and PVC piping buried under the sand to mimic a natural environment.

Should I move him now, or wait until he’s older? If I should wait, what size would be

I have 2 fully grown snowflakes in a 180.
It depends on what else is in the tank. As it always does. What will it eat and what might eat it.
The top needs to be jump proof. Eels jump.
Other than that a tank cant be too big, only too small.

Thanks for chiming in. My knowledge of eels is limited to a Snowflake back in the 1980s. I knew you have knowledge of keeping them.
