What is the best doser?

I have a Red Sea reefer 250 and Red Sea reefer nano. I'm in the process of setting up the nano. On the 250 I'm using an eshoppes doser which I'm going to put on the nano and buy a new doser for the 250. So the question is what is the best doser to buy? Also it has to be user friendly.
 
If I were in the market for a standalone Doser, it would definitely be the GHL Doser 2. I don't think there is a higher quality Doser on the market.
 
I have heard good things about GHL, but if you are like me with a budget, I choose the Jebao doser. Its been almost 2 years and it's still ticking and accurate. Just my 2 cents, but the GHL is on my wishlist.
 
One the top doser from what I have read are the kamoer. They are great solid doser but a bit old school with terms of no wifi connect or cloud settings.I believe though they have one in the works to change that. GHL I hear a good but many have display issues.

That was the old doser and even so, the screen is replaceable at home, they just sent u the part. No down time.
This is one of the great things about GHL equipment in general.
And now with USA based offices/warehouse/support, service is even better/faster.
 
Ok so i think I'm going to pull the trigger and buy the ghl. Should I get the 3 pump or the 4 pump? I have only been dosing alk and ca. What else is everyone dosing?
 
I have been using a GHL stand alone doser for 6 years with absolutely no issues with the display or any other component of this doser. I have upgraded to the GHL Doser2, but have not hooked it up yet. One reason is due to my original doser performing so well, I'm afraid to disconnect it. Get the the 4 pumps, there will always be something else besides Ca, Alk and Mg you will want to dose at some point.
 
If you're pinching pennies (I understand the doser 2 ain't exactly cheap) you could get the 3 for now and add the 4th head later.
But like vitodog says, I'm sure you could find a use for that 4th pump. Especially since it can dose as little as .1ml.
If it was me, I'd probably dose Sponge Power or something like that with it.
Unfortunately, all 4 of mine are taken up with the Triton Base Elements. :)
