What Is The Fish Per Litre/gallon rule?

hi gang,

i may be aquiring a blue throat trigger for my new cube free of charge and i was wondering if i had room. so what are the fish per given volume of water formulae; baring in mind uk and us gallons are different in size?

I think those guidelines are crap personally...

That said, i think a 120 is the minimum for a Blue Jaw, 180 for a large one.

8-1" fish are far different from a single 8" fish in volume needed. A 90 gal is too small for a blue-throat imo. It will live, but I hope you have a higher criteria set for what you hope to accomplish in keeping the fish.

hhmm, the keeping of the blue throat in the cube would be until it grew too large in which case it would be moved to a 6 footer. so i wanted to know the volume to see if i had room while it was still small as i feel it may be bullied in the big tank at the moment. ~(7 inch grouper,6-7 inch purple tang and a 5-6 inch map puffer). Also at what sort of size would be best to move it ?
