What is the quickest way to get rid of Zoas?

Could someone please tell me how to rid of Zoas? I mean not selling but ridding of them. They have totally taken over my Tank.

If your rocks are completely covered in zoanthids, I think your best bet is to just replace the rocks one at a time. If there's just a patch here and there, you could always smother the polyps with some epoxy. Over time the white epoxy will become purple, and you'll never even know that the zoanthids were there. GL.

I think it looks good that way. The best way I could think of is to get a butterfly fish to eat them, to cut them off literally, cover them with some type of cement material such as Aiptasia X, but the best would be to just frag them and give them away. I personally would just keep them in my tank if I was you though. Out of curiosity, how long have you had them?

looks good to me, BUT- i think the only way to get rid of that many would be to remove the rocks. either sell em or take them to your local fish shop for credit...
there are just too many for any other way to work.

wow, wasn't expecting that many...I'd trim them down off the wall and glass and it think it would look solid...you may have to remove the rocks and replace them if you want them all gone.

Wow, that's insane... too bad they are kinda pain Brown. Maybe get a couple zoa eating nudibranches or a butterfly. Natural eradication is going to be the best way. If you chemically kill them and you have all that die off, you would likely nuke your tank.

Sell them on cragslist first, you will make a bunch of money.... That is my 2 cents... People love zoanthids...

Wow, why is it ALWAYS the brown ones that take over haha.... That looks sweet but I can see why you would want some more color and other options. I think at that point, you will need to replace the rocks and razor them off the glass.

What ever your doing those zoas are loving it..That would be a crazy tank if they were blue tubbs/rastas or any other colorful zoa..just sell them off and scrape the glass and clean them up if you dont want them..try to make a little cash help your hobby..sell me the zoas dead center of the tank,,the vertical mound..

Find someone with zoa eating nudibranchs and see if you can find get a few.
