What is this and whys it on my palys

I found these on a rock that had some palys. The palys look upset but I'm not sure if it's cause of the hermit that just crawled over them or these little bugs.

It's a harmless amphipod. Free fishfood.

As CJ mentioned they are harmless, beneficial amphipods.
