What is this clown fish?

I recently purchesed this clown fish from my LFS. He was in a tank with about 10 other baby clowns that were the typical Orange and white stripes, he was different though. He had a very YELLOW belly and almost greenish body with white stripes and a white top back fin. I ended up keeping him in my friends quarantine tank and since I just recently started my 20g I wasn't going to through him in it without the tank able to handle him just quite yet with the other clown in there. He ended up doing terrible in my friends tank so I took him home and threw him in my tank and he has been doing excellent ever since. Take in mind I have been doing 10% water changes twice a week to make up for the fact I rushed him into it. My main question is what is he. Is he a specific breed where there are more of him or is he one of a kind when it comes to his color?

He is just missing the blue spot, but everything else about him is that color.

It's still a juvenile and for those it's hard to tell. It could very well also be a bicinctus or one of the many other clarkii lookalikes.

To be (relatively) sure you either would need to know where he came from in the wild or wait to see how he looks as an adult.

Also be warned that these guys get quite a bit bigger than ocellaris and percula.

That's not a Clarkii. My first vote would be juvenile Allardi and second and distant vote would be juvenile Bicinctus. I am pretty sure it's an Allardi. I had one before.

I always wanted the yellow form of allardi but was never able to find a pair.
Allardi, bicinctus and omanensis are closely related so it may be hard to be sure at this age. I've seen a lot bicinctus that looked like this one and they are more commonly found as tank raised (which I suppose this one is).

He looks like a clarkii to me, but how is the aggression between your clown and the new guy? In my experience usually you cant mix the different species of clowns due to aggression issues. I could be wrong ,but that was always the idea in my mind on the subject.

None the less he should readily host an anemone or at least be more likely to host then your normal ocellaris.

Honestly, after I moved him to my tank after he was in the friends QT tank, him and Oreo got along Perfectly fine. He literally took the role of little brother and does not leave his big brothers side. Which I'm very happy about.

I could see where you say bicinctus but most don't have that white strip on their back fin, he is a baby so I don't know if it's a give away or not yet since he is a baby.
