What is this fish?

Hello, I have a guy keeping a lot of fish and he lives within 10 minute's walk away from my house.
Today when I went to visit him, he seemed somewhat busy and quickly sold me this fish for 20$ and told me to see him some other day(he seemed to be in a rush to go somewhere).
I have attached a picture of the fish, and picture of my 20 gallon. The tank is only 12 weeks old, and I am a complete beginner.
Can someone please tell me what is the fish I got, how to care for it, and is it even ok to keep it inside 20 gallon? It seems to be the same size as my clown, and is very energetic and swims all over the place, however it did not seem to be too fond of the pellets that the clown eats.

I do agree, but the guy does not own a fish store. He simply offered to sell it to me, and was in too much of a hurry to give me any instructions. Kind of wish I did go to actual store to buy a fish. So I guess I should be returning him and I can't keep him? He seems like such a nice fish too

Agreed. It needs a much larger tank to thrive.

It's not terrible but long term the fish will grow and in a confined space become a bully. I don't think they need 70 gallons long term

Definitely going to need a bigger tank a 40b should be fine. A 70 would be overkill.
