Flatworms? Nudibrach? Planaria?

That what I am guessing...but no online research shows "white flatworms" on Montis/Porites.

Just hoping it is not "larval Berghia nudibranchs" from Grant. Doubt it though.

If you are concerned, clean the hair algae off and dip it and see what comes off. Btw the baby bergia look like tiny versions of the adults.

Grant, cleaned jar algae & dipped just in case. I need to get a tang for my frag tank (and/or keep phosphates lower). Just did water change.

Haven't seen the Berghia nor the "babies" since day one. Hopefully they hatched and will come back with vengeance. :)

It can take a while. I thought mine were gone and then started seeing less and less aptasia. Then their population exploded. It was a nice process to watch especially seeing 4 or 5 attack a big aptasia from all sides like a pack of wolves.:)

They look like a flatworm to me. Or a planaria variant.

+1 for berghia being generally not visible or free roaming the tank. Only when I began to run out of aiptasia did I begin to see them regularly as they searched around more for food. I am still aiptasia free to this day.

Oh, yeah they definitely came off.
I was just used to seeing red planarian and online searches for monti-eating flatworms and planaria showed nothing like the ones I saw.

I got the frag from a reefer in Livermore who bought the whole setup from some guy for $1000. Now he got a great deal! Corals, tank, sump, stand, skimmer, etx

@grant
Honestly I don't recall. I think i did since i was concerned the porite might not like the bayer Afvanced treatmt.
I dd inspect it very carefully and definitely did not notice those planaria things on the frag. Must have been eggs.
