What is this on my tang?!

Last night before lights out he seemed fine with no spots, He has been eating brine like a big and seems to swim happy and fine.What is it ??

He could have run into something pretty hard or another fish hit him? Looks like some sort of bruising, I'd just watch him for a couple of days and see if there are any changes. As long as he keeps eating and acting normal I wouldn't worry about it quite yet
 
Yes, keep an eye on him. Also, you probably know this, but I would try to wean him off the brine and onto something more nutritious like mysis, then pellets, as soon as possible.
 
Well everyone, Thanks for the help but this morning I found him dead at the bottom and I don't understand why . My first loss, yesterday is when I found the spot, he was swimming and eating but what can I do .
 
No the PBT got along with him just fine, the PBT swam around and minded his own, never saw him attack the naso nor did i see and off my other fish bother him. Test my water and everything is spot on. He was eating nori, brine, and a little of mysis. The both went in together about a week ago and seemed very healthy.

Did you quarantine these fish?... if not, you better keep a close eye on all your fish and be ready to remove and treat.
