What is this spot on my watchman goby?

Hi me again, the goby I bought a few days ago has regained its color, but the red spot near his cheek and cuts on his lip haven't healed yet

I'm beginning to wonder if these could be parasites or anything else l, can someone help identify? These marks were like that when I bought him in the LFS. My parameters are all stable as indicated from previous post. Will this go away on its own? Thanks

Its really hard to tell from that picture but if it's just a red/raw like scrape you can use Pimafix, its a safe product to treat in your DT and fights fungal infections which will promote healing.

Hi dkulman, thanks for response. I was waiting for reef store to open to buy the product you recommended. I posted a better picture so members can help confirm it is infection related.

It looks to me like it may very well just be from running in to a rock. When startled, they dive into thier burrow. If the aim is a bit off.......
