What is this tank? Anyone??

Yea I just understood "african" and "beef heart" so probably cichlids haha
I hope so, I've never built one before but it looks pretty simple. I just want it to be strong and have decent accessibility to the sump.

You'll still want your supports on the "corners." I only put that in quotes because they're not your typical corners. What size is the sump you're planning on using? If it will fit directly under the front squared section of the tank then you could just put one door on the front and then cover the sides. Otherwise you could potentially do three doors, but then your sump will need to be long and thin so may limit you there.

This is true for trimmed tanks, but this is a trimless flat bottom panel that will need full bottom support.
I'd trace the outline on to a sheet of ply and then build your frame to fit.

Yes, true, I was talking about the upright supports underneath the plywood on top.

This is a real diy project for me so my sump will be something suitable that I find 2nd hand. However, I'm thinking if I give myself a few inches at the back I should be able to fit a 24" long in there.
Instead of doors I might just do removable covers.
