What is this?

So there's a "fuzzy" stuff growing on some of my rocks and in between one of my zoas. Doesn't seem to be bothering the zoas - just no idea what it is. Any suggestions?

Yup, looks like a pineapple sponge to me. Helpful filter feeders. I have dozens in my reef.

Oh cool - thanks. I have all sorts of crawlies that came on the rocks. I see enough movement among the rocks at night that I am considering eventually I'll be able to feed a Mandarin .

Yea I have those too. Either sponges or tunicates. Either way harmless filter feeders
