These things are growing in the dark spots in my tank: sump, overflow box and under rocks... What are they? Pictures aren't very good, sorry.

Agreed.
Definitely pineapple sponges... They're tiny filter feeders. Some shrimp will nibble them if you need to get rid of them, but they're apparently not very tasty. Just leave 'em alone, they won't do any damage unless they mutate into giant stinging things. Which is very unlikely to happen unless you live near a nuclear power plant.
