What is this?

Hello I've noticed this little mushroom looking thing growing on my rock and have no idea what it is. It's only a few millimetres so it was hard to get a proper picture of it.

A closer picture would certainly help, but I'm leaning towards a pest anemone - either aiptasia or mojano, but it could just as easily be a bleached out zoanthid of some sort.

I'm going to second Billdogg; if I squint without my glasses up close, I see tentacles.

Thanks for the replies, I took the rock out of the tank and put it in a container with some of the water so I can get a better shot, the end of it hasn't come out all the way and is usually more flat.

It looks a bit like a small tube anemone, but it's hard to be sure about such small creatures.

might also be a tunicate, but I'm still just guessing. any possibility of getting a closer look?
