I noticed one of my yumas expelling this just a little while ago.

Congradulations! You may be a daddy in the future. Im fairly sure that those are eggs. Awesome picture by the way. Ive only ever seen that in pictures 2 times and that is the best one. Did you notice if any of your other yumas doing anything? Im not sure if they release the eggs at the same time as the sperm, there has been about 0 research papers about it. Has any thing changed in the tank recently? Once again congratulations, this means your doing something very right.

I did not know they reproduced like that. Mine always just dropped babies from the foot.
Hmmm, well here's some more of the pics I took.
As you will see, the last thing I need is more yumas, LOL.
This was all with lights out, but they were getting some sunlight with the garage door open.

Wow those are some awesome pics! Yes, yumas can spawn sexually, however like most corals either they never do it or we never see it in our aquariums. The fact that they are in your tank means they're verrrry happy. Maybe the morning light is acting like a moonlight for them and triggered the spawning?

That is quite a collection of yumas you have there. Any chance of some pics of your whole collection? And if you have to many you could always ship me some

My Rhodatics spawn like yours few months back. one will release eggs and the one next to it release sperm. but i still don't have any baby up to now.

Hope you can get some babies later one and please keep us posted

Those are some of the most stunning photos I have ever seen of tank occupants.
Awesome job and I would post to the Coral Propagation Forum.

pretty cool in all my years I've only had it happen three times all three times the fish ate the eggs before anything could be done about it.

Sweet pic Hex......Did you notice any of the others releasing the sperm into the water?

I didn't notice it that same day, but I did see that twice over the last three days. I tried to get picks of it, but they didn't turn out. It looks like the yuma is smoking when it does it. Very cool to watch.
I guess I have a yuma orgy going on in that tank. LOL.
