what is up with my Atlantic Longnose Butterfly fish? (aggressive behavior)

I recently added two Atlantic Longnose. Day one they kept very close together but the larger would bully the smaller.

Fast forward two weeks and now the smaller is bullying the larger. Strange thing is they seem inseparable. They follow each other around day & night but will randomly turn on each other. The small one chases the other off, 10 seconds later they meet up and continue looking for pods together. Fine for 10 min, repeat.

Is this normal? They both eat well (blackworms) and have plenty of room in my 90 gallon. All the other fish are quite peaceful tankmates as well.

Any thoughts?

I see them in the bahamas all the time diving. I have never seen two of them together. If i see two close by I will see one chase the other away. I only see them at in deeper 60+ feet of water too.
