I believe ads like that or similar just take fish and insert them in their tanks tyo make them more appealing to the consumer. Think about, you see a beautiful tank with beatiful fish and you want that tank and those fish. It is just a selling point. I dont think they woud cram that many fish into a tank that size, having it un cycled just for a picture. Photoshop does wonders.
I completely understand the photoshopping, but IMO it still encorages poor reefkeeping. I think that if thoughs fish would be happy in such a small aquarium, it would be a beautiful setup too.
You know some jacka$$ with no experience in reef keeping would try that exact set up. I agree with the photoshop angle, that plant in the back ground looks like one I've had in my freshwater aquarium.
When I was getting my cousin started in the hobby, he seen something similar at an LFS. He called me asking how many triggers he could keep in his 5g minibow.
Even though it is photoshop and is done for advertising only reasones I agree with chinchek and it souldn't be done. These companies need to be educated because there are people who will do exactly that.
Ummmmmm..... I don't think thats all the Michael Jackson fish does with children... If I were you I would refer to the "whats the most in-humane way to kill a Michael Jackson fish" thread...
So, technically it is infinitely long, having no true end. Which means it is larger than the largest rectangular tank available. Therefore, it is completely acceptable to house several large tangs in it.
