Okay I have had this pair(false percs) for quite some time now. They are hosting a BTA. The female never leaves the anemone and the male is always hovering right outside the anemone. If another fish comes close she will dart out and nip it and come right back. Other than that, they seem very normal. This morning I woke up to find the male halfway across the tank and in a cave, lying on it's side and breathing a bit rapidly. The lights are off right now so this is all the info I can give.
Is it normal for her to put him out like that? Why would he go "sleep on the couch" in a different spot in the tank, so far away from home? I'm a bit nervous here about the well being of this little guy so any info would be helpful. Thanks.
