what is your favorite fish?

Just wondering what is your favorite fish and why?

Mine is a Blonde Naso tang with Streamers.I like tangs in general and blonde's so i found my perfect fish. =) I've never had one casue they need a big tank...like a 180 bowfront! But i will soon! =)

My GF likes the yellow long horn cow fish, if you look online there are tons of bad stuff said about them. But i think it's a lie or i got lucky. He picks on one toadstool but other than that he is a star citizen.
-He takes food from my hand,
-rushes to the top of the tank when you walk in the room
- spits water if you hold the shrimp food above the tank
- and he looks kind of looks like a shark going through the water with his horns out of the water.

Anyways just thought I'd throw the topic out

PS: If I had a lot of money it would be a mystery wrasse...but i don't spend over $60 on any fish.

Chea!Cheap! Cheap! I love my N.vlamini. I can't wait to set up a bigger tanks so I can get more Nasos. The achilles and sohal are nice too! How about a pine cone or hawaiian tang?
Who can pick a favorite??

I loved my purple tang until he started pounding my acans. There are several beautiful high dollar wrasses which are prone to leaping and thus wouldn't be in my open tanks long.

In general I like colorful, smaller, reefsafe fishes. I also am fond of Mandarin gobies. Colorful and cool looking. My sunburst anthias (fathead anthias) is a wonderful citizen of my reef. Purple firefish are lovely too.

If I had a fish only tank, I'd have a lionfish, harlequin tusk fish and a clown trigger.

You said it Ken, Harliquin Tusk. I had one for 8 years and saw it all. Fish only to a softy tank to a mixed reef. It's my favorite for sure. I also like my Regal a lot too.

Shane love blond ... I on the other hand love a nice As...............fur Angel hope I can put one in my tank without problem. Also love a red hooded butter fly

Well my favoriye fish that I have now is my Coral Beauty Angel. He is very pretty knows it and is personable. I added him last and he has been a model citizen.
Fish I have always wanted Humu-humu trigger, maroon and gold clown and a longnose hawkfish.

My new tank might start out with the a pair of maroon and gold clowns and the longnose hawk. I may put a Scopas tang as well. :rollface:

Once I get my 240 up and running I plan on rolling the dice and getting a Moorish Idol. Love 'em. Hopefully I can find one that eats! :spin3: Right now my fav. fish I have in my tank is my Engineer Goby, though he can be a real pain at times. I just like watching him work on his caves all day. But talking about fish (plural), I plan on having at LEAST 10 Purple Fishfish. There's nothing like watching them school around the tank.

My favorite families are the Triggers and the Tangs. I've always admired the Naso Tang, maybe someday.

as an individual or as a species?
if its the fish species in general i will go with the blue green chromis! very cheap and easy to keep fish! plus very very very rewarding -- colorful and outgoing!
all i need is a few chromis in a school and im happy
