what kind of anemone?

picked up some LR rubble the other day to put in my refu and found this little fellow hanging around. i hadnt ever seen an aptasia like it (or other pest) so i didnt want to kill it. what kind is it? its tips are very pretty, thats for sure. eats silver sides like a champ haha.

It looks like an E. Quadricolor..if so, awesome hitch hiker. Keep feeding it.

i sure hope so. even if it turns out to be a pest, ill still probably keep it, its very intresting. my anemone crab has taken to it as well. how much/often should i feed? its about the size of a quarter when open.

would twice a week be too much/too little for this guy? thats what we fed our GBTA before 'the incident'.

I f you feed small portions i think that 2 x a week is a good start.

well he is quarter sized and i feed him pieces about the size of half a pea. i feed my brains, candys, and rics twice a week silver sides so i guess ill just feed him with them. thanks!

It does look like E. quadricolor. Your feeding regimen sounds good (2X/wk.).

Id say a rbta for sure!!!!!! After a few feedings and some good light I'm guessing that it will regain color!
