What Kind of Carpet is This (Pictures)?

saw this in LFS under PC Florescent lights, almost no flow. They are not a great store, don't think they know and wouldn't trust what they say anyway. Cannot see it in the pics from my phone but there are vertical columns of purple dots on the column.

It's a gigantea. Man, I feel really sorry for the nem to be wound up in such environment. It deserves a much better home. Sadly though, it is how it is.

thanks for all the input -- all of the knowledge i've gained from RC over the last year or so tells me it is a gig but i have no way to identify an atlantic so wanted to ask. also unsure b/c i recently saw a gig in person and it looked a bit different than this one iin person. the first one, which i know was a gig b/c i spoke to distributor who got it directly from collectors, had much thinner tentacles. these are very stubby by comparison. also the first one had more of the open space on the oral disk and "rows" of tentacles instead of just a mass of tentacles like this one has...if you know what i mean. you could delineate rows of tentacles separated by open spaces of the oral disk.

thnx.

Atlantics are a brownish, tannish color and the oral disk typically doesn't undulate, as in your pics (of gigantea).
