I want to know the specific variety of hawkfish i have. There are a couple photos of him in my gallery. He has acclimated quite well and is tolerant of all his tankmates, also eating well.

Pixy hawkfish are actually a different species (Cirrhitichthys oxycephalus). I'd watch your hawk with shrimp - if the shrimp are hiding, they may know something you don't
My pixy will kill anything on ten legs as soon as look at it. Hermits, shrimp, crabs, even some snails have ended up as dinner. Between the hawk and my vicious dottyback, there's not a single crustacean in my 21g.
