Hi Roger,

I have 120 gallon, the dimension are 4'x2'x2'. What model of tunze stream pump should i get and how much and where can i get them. Thanks.

2 6000's and a 7094. You could call MD, Premium Aquatics or Champion Lighting. If the sand is less than a couple months old, expect some mess for a while and you will need to keep the pumps clean to prevent damage until the sand is covered in a biofilm and settled.

You can do that to start but you will want to buy the multicontroller so you can add a second later, which odds are pretty good you will want to do that. Either that or start with no controller and wait for the 7095.

I'm planning for a same sized tank... where can i find pictures of ideal placement of 2 6000's icm controller? It'll be a SPS dominated tank =] Additional to the stream current there will be a scwd on the sump return pump... maybe.

What r the advantages of the 7095 over the 7094?

Thnx!

I don't have any pictures of placement and it varies by layout but back corner to front pane- 13/rd in from the ends is considered the best because it diffuses flow and gets a circular current pattern to sweep detritus.

The 7095 is more water resistant, includes a moonlight with 29day lunar cycle program and has an added program. The switching times between pumps can be as short as one second vs the current one minute. It looks much nicer as well.

The moonlight program sounds great!

I don't understand what "13/rd in from the ends" means, but i get the picture. Think I'll gro with 2 6000's in each back corner almost pointing to each other for best tidal simulation.

Last question for now =] with tidal simulation, will it switch between pumps each 6 hours (1 pump at a time) or will one just be lowered but still on? I don't want any pump off, fish and inverts might crawl in.

with the 7095 it is possible to have the second pump just run low, on the 7094 this isn't an option and you program the interval from 1min-12hrs on the 7094 and 1sec to 12hrs on the 7095.
