What kind of worm it this?

Finally was able to grab this critter, but at least half of it got away. The piece pictured is about 2 inches. I have small and medium fireworms, but wasn't sure about this one. What is it and could it eat coral? Thanks!

Don't know what it is but in the first pic it looks like you cut Gene Simmons' tongue off. haha

Amphinomidae fireworm, doesn't look like one of the predatory species.

Looks like a tongue to me too, maybe we should give it a piercing. Gene Simmons would be proud! As for your id Leslie, thank you very much and that is reassuring. Still gonna try to get the rest of it out though, too big to be crawling over all my corals at night, just doesn't seem right.
