I am not new to Saltwater, but totally new to using LED lighting. My old set of tanks was a pair of 500 cube tanks. With a lot of softies and SPS. Used to I would just start doing MH with T5's, but I want to use LED with this one.
The tank is 96" wide, 36" high, and 24" deep. It's a bit over 350 gallons. It is acrylic, while I finishing putting it back together polishing etc I wanted to get my lights on order. What are the recommendations to go with now for a tank such as this. The tank was built originally by ATM and setup with their fake coral so I am changing filtration etc out. I also pulled all of the CFL that was in the hood. I really don't want to have to goto a chiller but will. I am in Las Vegas so I can cool quite a bit with fans using evaporation if I need to. I am also going to do reverse lighting on a refugium in the stand.
I don't care about color controls etc, as everything from RO refill tank, all chemical parameters, lighting(I want to do moon cycles as well), wave makers etc will be controlled from my homes central automation system.
TIA.
