I have often wondered what fish and other critters our members have in their marine aquariums, and how long have you kept them?

Somebody out there will get the award for the fish longest kept in an Oklahoma home saltwater aquarium!

Dam, I'm not in Oklahoma so I don't qualify but I found this thread and I am going to post anyway.

OK, maybe I won't.

Some one that has had a tank since 1971 is insane

But as far as I know, none of the animals have been in there since then. Except maybe my manta ray but he hides a lot.

Anybody else in Oklahoma with a critter list...

Chris, How big is your Melanarus? And thanks for the reminder...I can't believe I forgot the (3) 6-8" Maxima clams on my sandbed... now if I could only have that success with a Crocea! :sad2:

yellow tail damsel that I call blue diamond or Dozer and came with tank back in January.
royal gramma that I call her royal highness 3 months
next weekend should be getting a true per clown

SHR,

I love Royal Gramma - great fish... If you ever move your tank, and can't find your gramma, be sure to check holes in your live rock. Twice I have discovered a royal gramma inside a hole in LR - fortunately I heard it "flapping" in the hole and got it back in water! They can hide almost anywhere!

I was speaking to a couple of friends last night, and they have a clownfish they have had for 16 years. They used to own a dive shop and he was in the display tank there. When they closed the shop they brought him home and have had him ever since.

I have a yellow tail damsel that I've had for 3 years and about 3000 miles of travel

The others are inside, or a little over,a year.
