what lps coral is this

i paid ten dollars for it at my lfs and = he didnt know the species now i have a chance to ask u guys

well the browning happened when salinty was to high and i was trying to lower it down to proper levels and took me a few days to do it with water changes got it back to where it needs to be though the white is coming back

That sounds like the opposite of what you want. The brown is atleast color of something. The white looks like dead skeleton/rock.
 
i though when u see a coral get brown that its dying so i though u want it to stay white because it was growing when it was white
 
I looks like an SPS, certainly not an LPS. Any white on a stony coral is death, the brown is likely tissue or algae.
