What Mag,Cal,Alk Range??

Alk- 10, mag- 1300, and cal- 400. Calcium really depends on your stony coral load. More stony corals means you need a higher calcium level.

I keep mine at,

Mag 1400
Cal 400-450
Alk, 2.5-3.5 Meq/l
Don't do anything to adjust my pH (( besides dosing and dripping Kalk )) and it stays at
8.2.

Do any of you use the Bulk Reef Supply stuff?? I just started using it and was trying to get some levels i wanted to reach and was curious where everyone had theirs at.

I dose 2 part -- 2 little fishes and drip kalk. I dose about 90 ml of each 2 part each night (( with a 2 nights missed per week, on average )). And I dose my Tech M (( for mag )) about once every 2 weeks.

I dont know how anyone can keep their levels that high. I've got what I consider to be a low demanding calcium tank, BUT I cant keep it over 380. I've been using the BRS 2 part for about 8 months now and dosing ~80 mls a day of parts one and two... and they wont budge.

My tank stays pretty constant around:
Ca - 380
Alk - 4 MEQs
Mag - 1400
SG - 1.025
Temp - 79-81
nitrates - trace - none

If someone could help me figure that out I'd be eternally grateful :P

Use reef crystals and do a 20% twice a month.

Then you're not dosing enough. I use baking soda, Kent Part A and pickling lime. And I've got a coralline explosion right now like a pink bomb exploded.

pH: 7.9 - 8.2
Calcium: 400 - 420
Alk: 8 - 9 dKh
Mag: 1400-1500

I use Kalk via a reactor and ATO, and dose Mag via dosing pump w/ Mag Chloride/Sulfate. It's a 180 Gallon Mixed reef, with a few SPS's, mostly softies and LPS.
