well the center is ... ummm blackish... then you have a huge green field, and then a slight orangish/pink color, then purple. So ummm yeah.. RAINBOW!

I dont get the whole "Name a Zoanthus" movement. Dont get me wrong its everyone's right to name something if they want to but all it seems to do is bring confusion to the table. Like the picture above (nice coral by the way) could be called PE style green center with purple outer ring. Someone could buy that coral and then give it some funky name like Toxic Avenger Paly.

I don't mind the name. A name makes it easier to know what it is (in some cases) .. Just some people like to come up with crazy name and call it rare so they can sell them at a crazy prize
I felt bad when I asked $3 per polyp for the one above but that because I didn't want to sell. I just want to trade with people. I only sold it to one person that I gave him a great deal.

But yeah, to me I'd say green & purple centered zoanthid, and provide a picture and let people grab it or not.

Phong, yours are different than the other ones.
The type in Pazazz's pic can develop orange and purple rings in addition to the pink in yours. The pink/green ones are more common among these new ones that have been showing up.
The "Rainbow" ones are less common. I'd still not pay $40-$100 per polyp though

Pazazz likes to collect nice stuff, but he's out towards the midwest somewhere, if I remember right
We're spoiled here, because most of the cool zoas and palys show up on the west coast first. If you wait and look around a bit, you pretty much can get whatever you want here.
About the only nice ones that didn't come in first on this side was that "Purple Death" and some of those Caribbean zoas that I've not bothered to get.
Someone pm'd me a while back with an offer of $400 for 1-2 polyps of my nicer zoas. Didn't take him up on it though. I'm not in it for that get-rich-quick scheme.
That whole hobbyist turned chop shopper mentality that's been going on with the zoa people in particular is a big big turn off.

Just wanted to say that Mr Ugly is right, we dont usually get the "nicer" zoa here, but thanks to Pazzaz, Marvinsreef and Mucho who are paying the price to obtain these and propagate them we are finally able to get some of the nicer zoa and palys.
Just to clarify Pazzaz is not the one selling these for $100 a polyp, Reef Kingdom dot com is. he was just stating that someone was selling these for a much higher price than he was, when he has sold these singularly he usually only charges $25 I believe which is pretty standard for the more colorful palys as far as I have seen.
I would love to have the selection of corals you guys have.

i dont understand this. insane to pay $100 for a freakin zoo polyp. if i had a magnifying glass for an eye, they'd sure look pretty nice.
