what next?

just added a 20 long refugium/sump to my 75 gallon fowlr tank. today i added a 4" sand bed and a 4 oz. wad of chaeto. the fuge will be lighted from 11 pm to 7 am. i really want to increase my coraline algae. should i take a piece of lr out of my display tank(that has coraline on it) and put it into the fuge? please let me know

you want coraline algae in the fuge?
take something like a rock and and scrub the coraline off while in the fuge, you really don't need to leave the rock in there.

wanting to get coraline algae in the dp. currently i have a few small spots of coralline. someone told me the refugium would help promote the coralline growth. anyone with any suggestions or additives i could put in the dp?

excellent. they were good before adding refugium. my lighting stunk up until last weekend. added another 130 watt fixture for a total of 260 watt.

specifically how is calcium/alk/mag?
coraline will grow under PC's if environment is conducive.
