Nice thread Rogger, here's our beloved 14 Year Old Golden. Had him since he was 3 weeks old. He's the only pet besides my Tank in the house.

Well, I can leave the tank without food for a weekend and it'd be fine. The lights are automated..

I would never leave my cats or dog alone for a night.

If I'm going away on vacation, It's SO much easier to ask somebody to come in every 2-3 days to feed my fish and to make sure it's still up and running than to ask them to cat/dog sit, feed them 2X a day, walk the dog, and clean the litter box.

Oh...and they have a tendancy to get up super early and chase each other around in the morning.

We also have 3 kitties - all rescues. They're a lot nicer to pet than the fish.

I have a 1 and a half y/o maltese, he has the heart of a mastiff....totally insane

over the years had a 3 foot red tail boa
4 foot ball python
2 rotty's (one now lives in Orlando) the other passed away
2 red nose Brindled Pit Bull's, they got stolen from my back yard in atlanta...just beautiful sweet dogs...extremely tamed
4 scorpions

I have a Bagel! 1/2 Basset hound 1/2 beagle we rescued a couple months ago after my 1st beagle died unexpectedly.

Raquel, currently 3 1/2, is a spoiled princess.
