What size is considered "juvenile" for Ocellaris?

I am looking to pickup two ocellaris clowns in hopes of them pairing up. I already read that it's best to get two juveniles.

What size would qualify an ocellaris as a juvenile? the LFS usually has them at about 1.5"-2".

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Age doesn't necessarily have anything to do with size with clownfish, especially if they're wild caught.

IMO, for best success get captive bred clowns, get the smallest one you can find, and then get one that is clearly larger, and then QUARANTINE for 3-4 weeks.

thanks...the only problem for me is that the tank bred ones' colors are so plain vs. the orange vivid color of the wild caught ones :(

Look for other sources. I found a store that carried tank raised, and they were a beautiful, super-deep orange color.

Don't settle for the pale, washed out varieties. It takes some hunting, but you'll find nice fish out there.
