What size stream for 90g mixed reef

Looking to replace my maxijet powerheads with a stream. What size should I get? I have a Mag 24 return pump that is located in my basement and has a total head of 9ft. I figure I get about 1000gph out of this. The return is also connected to a spray bar that runs 3/4 of the length of the tank(in the back). I was also thinking of running the stream of my AQII. What are the differerences in functionality if I went with the my AQII rather than the controller from Tunze.

The Aquacontroller would void the warranty on our pumps. The Electronic version which is what I would suggest as model 6000 is controlled by a computer interface which causes the pump to switch between two speeds, off and on cycling will cause damage unless it is done through this computer port. The 6060 which is the suitable non electronic model cannot be controlled and cannot be turned off and on more than once an hour, if that is an option on the Aquacontroller then it would be OK.
