What Size Tank

My parents would like a tank. When asked about which fish they like they always go with the aggressive fish.

Here is a list I gave em for an aggressive softie first tank-
Will help them keep there hands out of the tank :)

Xlarge Purple Psudochromis
Niger triger, Blue Throat Trigger, or maroon clown
Anetta Lionfish
Zebra Moray

What size tank do you think would be adequate for these fish? I was thinking minimum 90 gallons with at least a 75 fuge with asm g3 skimmer, mangroves, and cheatomorpha.

90 is too small --- they need space to roam. 72inches long by 18inches wide at least ...... and I think someone is bound to eat the purple pseudochromis if you are thinking an orchid dottyback/fridmani

I would definately go with a 6' tank at least 18" wide. I've don't think there is such thing as an xlarge purple psuedo. I have had one for over a year and he is only about 2". Would probably end up in one of those other guys mouth.

2-4" i think are the max for those --- the meanest pseudochromis you'll find on the net is the steeni its blood red face w/ black body and big canines --they say it should be housed by itself. in the basslets dottybacks book there is a pic of one in a cave showing teeth right before it attacks scott michael the author.

Thank you for the input on the larger 6ft tank, I agree & it would look nicer. Any reccomendations then for a fish thats mean as hell that stays small that would work out with the lion and zebra. Want to have this together before I even attempt to get a list of equipment. A 180 is a pretty large tank for a niger trigger, a zebra moray, and an anetta lionfish. P.S. I usually always buy my fish small as well but these are not likely going to be moved for some time.

a 180 would be nice but I think youd be ok with a 125. Personally I havent had problems with lions getting nipped by triggers, but an antennata lion might tempt a fish more. GO with something besides the psuedo, I think a lion might get him. Maybe a large angel, puffer or wrasse?

A bowfront 155 would be pretty sweet but imagine it would cost almost half as much as the system itself. I am kinda against the height on the 180 bc I plan on using 2 175 watt MH w lumenaric reflectors and 2 actinic 03 VHO's. Looking to maximize light effeciancy but still try to get the lenght right for the eel and lion. Thinking that the 125 will be spot on with a 75 sump. Should give nearly 170 gallons of water. Thanks for all the help and input, should make for an awsome first tank for them.

Also,

Anyone know where you can buy see through plastic pvc or acrylic for an eel?
