What skimmer would you recommend?

im looking for a good skimmer for a 75g lps/softy reef with a moderate/high bioload. but heres the catch.... it has to be completely external about 2 ft from the tank. My current skimmer is over 20 years old and we use the main return pump to put water into it. Water is pumped from the sump, it hits a T where one way goes to the main tank, and the other way goes to the skimmer and gravity brings it back to the sump. i would prefer to use this existing T to put a new skimmer( its 1" PVC) if possible... If i have to, i can pump directly from the sump, up and out ~2ft to the skimmer and then have it use gravity back to the sump, and that would be fine as well. Thank you for any suggestions or ideas.

DAS EX II is a great skimmer for that size and it is external

I used to have a DAS EX 1 in my old 90 and that was a great skimmer.
