What skimmer?

One problem with the Coralife, great skimmer, but, it'll look VERY obtrusive in a 20 Gallon. The pump is huge and so is the bubble diffuser box. Would look at another choice, although if you have a good spot to hide the pump, it skims real well.

Only other hang-on experience I have is with with a Deltec. It is an AWESOME skimmer but is very very expensive and just may not be worth it for a 20 Gallon.

HTH,

Dave

whoa, way too much negativity towards the bak-pac!
getting my bac-pak to purr is way too easy. i have a maxi-jet 1200, and i adjust it to generate the highest volume of the finest bubbles possible. i have to tweak it about twice a month, that's it! the collection container is a breeze to clean, i just run it through hot water in the sink, and push a cleaning pad through it. easy as cake! microbubbles are only a problem if it is not set up correctly. it really does it's job well. i think people that say the skimmers don't work are probably all thumbs when it comes to attention to mechanical detail.

Such BS!

So that knocks that out of the running...and people say negitive things about the CPR, so I guess I'll get the aquaC remora. Thanks again everyone!
:)

I have a CSS125 on my 75 and an AquaC Remora on my 55.

Go with the Remora, you can pick them up used for about $120 with the skimmer box. The way the skimmer box mounts is the only thing I don't care for.
