What specie(s) of tangs is most difficult?

What is the most difficult species of tangs to keep?
Or, what species should be kept away from for a new hobbyist?

I keep reading that the acantherus specie is the most difficult because they tend to attract ich, easily stressed and just require a lot of space. But usually, they tend to die from a disease.

Is an acantherus a fish to stay away from?

I wouldn't consider any tang to be a beginner fish, though clearly some are easier than others. Zebrasomas are easier, as are many of the bristletooth genus. I'd steer clear of Acanthurus genus, hippo/Regals and Naso.

To the OP if your goal is getting banned from here there are much easier ways to accomplish this... I would love to know how many People get banned a month on here? March has been a big month for it!

Yellow tangs are in every tank in the world, but something about that pop of yellow. Hardy and should be in fine your tank (125 gallon, right?).

Didn't you just get a thread closed by Brian because of something tang related!?

M not sure:\. I'm still getting used to hear forums. I know I've had a couple of tang questions, and I'm doing research here and there. There are many places that contradict others and it's so confusing when I come across them. It's frustrating. Tangs are beautiful fish, and it stinks knowing they're difficult to keep[emoji24]

Naso tangs (all species) get very large, large enough where a 10 foot length tank would be required to properly home it.

Oh snap! I thought they'd be fine in a 6'. Eh, I can live without one then. [emoji20]. Sad, but I don't want to bring a fish knowing I cannot give it its needs. Thanks for the info!

For asking questions? Is it not that what new hobbyist do? Or, anyone going into something new for that matter? I apologize if some, if not most [emoji15], of my questions are repetitive, but this forum is highly educational and I often ask questions when I'm confused about an article or something I read. People here are friendly and tend to answer and provide more information. However, if this is not the place, then I have nothing more to say.
